Safe, Caring Communities

I stand for safe communities built on prevention, accountability and secure housing.

  • Safety starts early. That means investing in early childhood, education and family supports — because that’s where real safety begins.
  • We need a prevention-first response to domestic, family and sexual violence. That means fully implementing the Coroner’s recommendations and publicly tracking progress so government is held accountable.
  • And we must treat housing as essential infrastructure — because secure housing is the foundation of health, dignity and community safety.

Safe communities don’t happen by accident. They’re built — with the right priorities and the courage to follow through.

Fair, Local, Future-Focused Economy

We should be building a fair, local, future-focused Territory economy. An economy that creates good local jobs, backs innovation and gives our kids real opportunities to stay and thrive here.

  • That means putting local businesses first. Government spending should prioritise Territory businesses, and when it doesn’t, there should be transparency and accountability.
  • It means investing in future-focused industries and skills that set the Territory up for the long term — not just short-term headlines.
  • It means scrutinising major deals and contracts to ensure Territorians benefit — not just big corporations. Integrity in politics should be the baseline, not the exception.

A strong economy isn’t just about growth. It’s about who benefits — and whether our community is stronger because of it.

Looking After Place

I stand for Country, climate and the places we share.

  • Looking after place starts with respect for Country. That means First Nations-led decisions on land use, sacred sites and development — listening to and being guided by Traditional Owners, because respect for Country is foundational.
  • It means protecting what makes life here thrive — our coast, our water, our green spaces, our schools and our sporting grounds. These are not luxuries; they are the fabric of community life.

It means climate action that strengthens our community, solutions that cut power bills, create local jobs and protect the places our kids grow up in.
